Transportation for Seniors & Persons with Disabilities

All seniors (60 and over) and persons with a qualified disability looking can request curb-to-curb transportation services within Acton, Boxborough, Littleton, and Maynard, Massachusetts. See below for more information on the Road Runner and Town Council on Aging Vans. Others may also ride when space is available.

How Much Does It Cost?

Trips to the local COAs (Acton, Boxborough, Littleton, Maynard ) are FREE. 

All other trips are $1 (one way).

How to Ride

For van reservations call at least one day in advance (sooner if possible). Dispatch is available Mon-Fri 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Rides may be scheduled up to one month in advance. Please have the name, phone number and address of your destination when you call.

The Council on Aging (COA) Senior Vans are Dial-A-Ride services offered for residents of Acton, Boxborough, Littleton, and Maynard. Residents age 60 and over, or those with a qualified disability are eligible to ride. Others may also ride when space is available.

How to Ride

Trips are booked on a first-come first-served basis by calling the dispatcher any time between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM. Book your trip a minimum of 24-hours in advance. The earlier you book, the more likely you will be to get your preferred time. Passengers may book trips up to one month in advance.
